The Humboldt Lions Club is one of the more than 45,000 Lions Clubs Worldwide. Lions Clubs International is the world's largest community service organization made up of over 1.3 million members in 202 countries. Our members are men and women who are striving to make a difference in our community as well as communities throughout the world.
The Humboldt Lions Club was charted on February 8, 1951. The club began with 28 charter members and today has 18 members. Humboldt was sponsored by the Chanute Lions Club, and co-sponsored by the Iola Lions Club.
The Humboldt Lions Club extends our commitment to sight conservation through countless local efforts, including purchasing glasses for needy children as well as collecting used eyeglasses that are recycled and distributed to developing countries around the world.
