The Hudson Lions Club needs funds for our community programs and charitable events. We run several fundraising events each year, all planned and worked by volunteers. Listed here are some of the things we do to raise money for those in need.
Bingo$econd $aturday Bingo   The Hudson Lions Club runs a bingo night at the Kiwanis Hall in Hudson each 2nd Saturday of the month. It is our largest fundraiser to support our community giving. We volunteer a full night of answering calls, questions, making change, bringing winnings, and more. You won't see a more courteous group any where in New England.
Old Home Day ParkingOld Home Days Parking   The Hudson Lions Club parks cars for cash donations during Hudson Old Home Days held on the grounds of the Hills House located across the street from Alvirne High School. Each year on the 3rd weekend in August this four day event draws over 10 thousand people into town to visit family and friends, have fun on the carnival rides, enjoy food and drink from local resturants and see an impressive fireworks display on Saturday night.
Cowpie BingoCow Pie Bingo   The Hudson Lions Club Cow Pie Bingo contest is held each year for some lucky person to win the $1,000 grand prize. A rectangular plot of land on the Hills House Field is subdivided into 500 squares. A deed for each square is sold for $10. On the last day of Hudson Old Home Days a cow from the Alvirne High School farm is brought over to do its business. Where it lands determines the winner.
Golf Tournament   The Annual Al Levesque Memorial Golf Tournament is held in September at the Whip-Poor-Will Golf course in Hudson to raise funds for Hudson Lions Club charities.
