The Palolo Lions Club encourages student artist design a poster of their choice. But there is one rule, on the poster the words "Sight is Beautiful" must be on the poster.

The contest begins during the Fall semester with judging by Palolo Lions during the beginning of the Spring semester.  Top winners from the Club level are then submitted to the zone level ultimately the district level.

During the 1925 International Lions Convention Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become “Knights of the Blind" in the crusade against darkness. Since then the Lions have worked tirelessly to aid the blind and visually impaired. By sponsoring this contest we hope to heighten student awareness of what would be like to live in darkness and to appreciate our own ability to see and view the world.

Due to COVID 19 the Palolo Lions Club "Sight is Beautiful" Poster Contest was placed on hold for the time being.
