The Harrisville Lions Club was chartered in January 1948 and continues to serve the Harrisville Community after more than sixty years.

An Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by the club each year and held in the community park.

A Halloween Parade is also sponsored by the club each year and prizes are awarded for entries in several categories.

Bi-annual sausage sales and ongoing broom sales are two of the fundraisers held.
