The Lions Club of Gympie Inc was first chartered in October 1961 and has a long and proud history of serving the Community. 

It meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at various locations in the Gympie region. The best way to find out where the next meeting will be held is to e-mail the Club Secretary on gympielions@gmail.com

The Club hosts a number of fundraisers throughout the year with its major project being the Lions Community Op Shop located at 73 Mary Street, Gympie, Qld 4570.

Staffed by Lions Members and a Team of dedicated volunteers, the shop is a major contributor to the funds raised for community benefit. 

Other activities include road safety workshops, a family fishing competition, driver reviver, spectacle collections and community morning teas to mention a few.
