The Greene Lions Club is one of the largest and most productive Clubs in the Southern tier of NY area. For a club in a relatively small community, we pride ourselves on being very active in recruiting new members.
We believe in making our meetings fun, and follow the belief that adhering to the principles of Lionism, doesn't mean that meetings need be long or boring. We are a mixture of all age groups. We have a number of members with over 40 years of membership, and have also a number of members under 35 years of age.
The Greene Lions Club owns and operates a 40 Acre Community Park, with three Little League fields, several soccer fields, and a running/walking track. This facility is managed and cared for, entirely by local members. It is available for use by the community at no cost. We offer the pavilion to the public for Private Parties,Reunions, Weddings, Birthday parties... etc at a minimal cost. Visit the Lions Park Pavilion for more information.
Our club runs a little league baseball program during the summer each year, over 100 local children get their first opportunity to play organized baseball in our program.
