The Grapevine Lions Club was Chartered on November 26th, 1934, and is part of the worlds largest service organization, Lions Clubs International. More more than 1.4 million Lions serve 44,500 Lions Clubs located in 186 countries world wide.

Our Club was sponsored by the Decatur Lions Club, and it is the oldest service organization in Grapevine, chartered before there was a Chamber of Commerce. It is a little known fact that the city's present house numbering system was initiated by the Lions Club, and the Club provided wooden posts and cross-pieces for street signs. Lion Jim Bob Bruce was with the club since 1965 until he recently passed.

Our community outreach partners include the Chamber of Commerce, G.R.A.C.E, Boy Scout Troop 7, Woodridge Nursing Home, Baylor Hospital, the City of Grapevine/Grapevine Parks and Recreational Dept., Grapevine PD outreach program, and several others.

Our community outreach activities are funded through fundraisers including Grapefest, Main Street Days, Passport to Wonders live show, and a Magic show. Proceeds are used to help the Texas Lions Children's Camp in Kerrville, G.R.A.C.E, the Grapevine Library,  Boy Scout Troop 7, and many others.

For additional information about our Club or any of our Charities or Projects please contact us via email or by sending your questions or comments to any of our Officers or Directors of the Grapevine Lions Club.
