The Georgetown Evening Lions Club was chartered in 1970 by Lions Clubs International. Our diversified membership of men and women in a wide age range allows us to draw on the vitality and enthusiasm of youth and the wisdom and experience of age. It is one of the more than 45,000 Lions Clubs serving their communities.

•Fund access for all local school nurses to have the ability to refer students in need for vision exams and eyeglasses.
•Collect used eyeglasses for reconditioning and redistribution
•Fund annual scholarships for four graduating high school students from Georgetown HS, Richarte HS and Eastview HS.
•100% Club funding participant in all Lions International designated efforts.
•44 years as a sponsor for the Texas Lions Camp.

The Caring Place - We provide basic human needs for families in financial crisis in Georgetown, TX and Northern Williamson County.
In addition to local community support, our club supports efforts on a national and international level.
Leader Dogs - This organization provides free guide dogs, GPS and mobility programs to the blind, Deaf-Blind and visually impared.
Lone Star Lions Eye Bank - is a 501(c)(3) Texas non-profilt corporation dedicated to the preservation of sight.
Texas Lions Foundation - TLF concentrates its effors in two areas: humanitarian services and disaster relief grants.
Campaign Sight-First - LCIF is a leader in providing support for preventing avoidable blindness and restoring sight for people around the world.
Lions Club International Foundation - We give sight. We support youth. We provide disaster relief. We address humanitarian needs.
