The December 5th meeting, the children made ornaments for their trees, as well as, making cards for the Troops!

For our last meeting in November we collected 110 pounds of food for the Franklin Food Pantry.  Sue Kilcoyne came to collect the food and talk to the kids on what the food pantry does for the community.

The children learned how giving and giving thanks is important not only during the holidays, but year round. They colored pictures and I asked them to give each one to the person they felt they wanted to give thanks to. They each stood in front of the group and they said what they were thankful for.

The kids made pictures to send to those serving our country for veterns day.

The pictures were delivered to the VFW post here in Franklin.  We kicked off our toy drive and we have already collected some great toys:

This was followed by some lively dancing when Miss Regina came by to help us with a movement class.

Greeting TJ
