100TH ANNIVERSARY UPDATE:

WE ARE AWAITING WORD FROM LIONS INTERNATIONAL REGARDING OUR INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT'S TRAVEL PLANS FROM SOUTH KOREA IN VIEW OF THE CURRENT PANDEMIC.

WE EXPECT TO HEAR BY APRIL 6 AT WHICH TIME A DECISION WILL BE MADE AS TO THE STATUS OF OUR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION.  IF WE ARE ABLE TO HAVE IT, THEN INVITATIONS WILL BE SENT OUT AT THAT TIME. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR PATIENCE. 

THIS SITUATION OF COURSE IS UNPRESEDENTED IN THIS COUNTRY MUCH LESS THE.  ENTIRE WORLD. OUR CALENDAR IS STILL SHOWING THE CELEBRATION SO KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED..

You are invited to the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Everett Central Lions Club, the oldest chartered club in the Northwest, north of San Francisco and west of the Denver area. The event will be located in a beautiful setting on the Everett Waterfront next to the marina with great views of Puget Sound and the Olympics. You will be treated to a visit by our Lions International President, all the way from Korea for the occassion. (Dress code semi-formal please)

Dr. Jung-Yul Choi

Dr. Choi has held many offices within the association, including club president, cabinet secretary, district governor andinternational director. He also served numerous times Dr.Jung-Yul Choi has been a member of the Busan Jae-il Lions Club since 1977, President Choi has heldas a DGE Group Leader and served on 11 committees as a member of the International Board of Directors. In addition, he was a chairperson of the 39th OSEAL Forum in 2000 and a host committee chairperson at the 95th Lions International Convention in Busan in 2012, the largest convention ever held in Lions history.

FROM THE NORTH

Follow I-5 south into Everett. Take the Everett Ave. exit, turn right onto Everett Ave. and go west through town to Marine View Dr.  Turn right onto Marine View Dr. and continue north to 13th St., Turn left onto 13th St and go past the Indigo Hotel on left, follow signs toward the water to the Yacht Club. 

From the South 

Follow I-5 Northbound to exit 193 (Pacific Ave./City Center) in Everett.  Coming off the exit turn left onto Pacific, go west several blocks through town to Marine View Dr. Turn right on Marine View Dr. and go serveral blocks north to 13th St. Turn left onto 13th St. and go past the Indigo Hotel on left, then follow signs towards the water to the Everett Yacht Club.
