Community Defribillators donated by Dundalk Credit Union in association with Dundalk Lions Club.
They are situated at Applegreen on the Carrick Road and also on the Avenue Road at the Maxol Garage and at Brodigan’s Londis on the Point Road.
A First Responder spokesman said: “Defibrillators save lives and with your help we can save more local lives”.
Dundalk Lions Club in conjunction with Dundalk Credit Union and the Dundalk based 'Cardiac First Responder Scheme’ have identified three locations in the town that need cover.
Dundalk Lions Club has been helping local people in practical ways since 1977. Our motto is “We Serve”. We want to help save local lives. They will be available 24/7. Their location will be registered with the ambulance service and a person who phones 999/112 as well as being told how to do CPR will also be told the nearest location.
