We're Better Together
The Davidson Lions have merged with the Huntersville Lions. The combined club meets for dinner at 6:30 p.m., on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at El Toro Mexican Grille & Bar in Cornelius. Those choosing to eat, order from the menu. Guest speakers regularly attend and inform the group on a variety of subjects. Click a tab at the left for more information.

- Monday, Aug 12, Dr Misty Sweat, will provide information about the Sullenberger Aviation Museum. An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the Sullenberger Aviation Museum is home to aircraft and artifacts from the advent of aviation to the present.

- Monday, Sep 9: Educatopm Director of Rural Hill Historic Site, a local historic and cultural preserve, with over 250 years of history and heritage
- Monday, Sep 23. Kimberly Davidson, chief of the Davidson Police Department. Kimberley will will finish discussing Davidson PD and some of the progress the department has recently made. He will also talk about his role as lead agent in the arrest of Bradley Manning who stole the largest number of classified documents in histor,y until Snowden.
- Monday, Oct 28, Jacob Shope, a certified EMS instructor with CFD, will talk about how to respond in an emergency with CPR, Heimlich maneuver, etc, when someine is chokin,g stops breathing, or has a heart attack.
- Monday, Nov 25, Mr Morgan Long, Education Director of the Catawba River Keeper Foundation, will talk about the programs and activities in place to preserve and protect the Cawtaba River,.

Save the Date ! On August 19, 2024, the Club is presenting the Russel B. Knox Golf Tournament, benefiting the Davidson Veterans Memorial Fund. The Tournament will be held at the River Run Country Club in Davidsion, NC. The Tournament is a Captains Choice (4) Golfer Scramble.
