Dallas Park Cities Lions Club
Chartered in 1929, the Park Cities Lions Club has been serving the community ever since. Although we are the Park Cities Lions Club, our members live throughout the area, Including the Park Cities, Irving, Mesquite, and beyond. Our central location allows us to attract civic-minded business people who work together to support our broader community.
The Park Cities Lions Club has a long history of supporting local youth. We help them see for today and tomorrow.
Helping Children See...
Through our fundraisers, we are known for support of the Lions Sight and Tissue Foundation and it's Children's Vision Clinic. The clinic provides vision screening and eyeglasses for students from low-income families in Dallas and surrounding counties.
...And Helping Them See Beyond
Physical sight is fundamental, but being able to see and understand the world beyond your neighborhood - the ability to develop and have a vision of the world - is paramount in a child's development. The Park Cities Lions Club's Camp Burnett provides this opportunity for local children.
Located on the shores of Lake Grapevine, 48-acre Camp Burnett provides a nearby opportunity for otherwise city-bound children to experience new activities, meet other children, and grow in ways that are initially unknown to them. Groups such as the YMCA, Scouts, and other youth-related organizations count on the Park Cities Lions Club and Camp Burnett to help them educate and inspire the next generation.
