The Cucamonga District Host Lions Club proudly serves the community through hands-on projects that reflect the heart of Lionism. From hosting free eye screenings through Lions Friends In Sight, where participants receive reconditioned eyeglasses, to collecting used eyewear for the Lions Recycle for Sight program, our mission is to bring clearer vision and brighter futures to those in need.
We partner with City of Hope to fund research in diabetes and pediatric cancer, and we support education through our Adopted School Program, providing books, classroom supplies, and mentorship to local students. Our members also join regional efforts like Operation Military Christmas, preparing 1,000 holiday care bags for service members away from home, and sponsor youth leadership through the Lions Speaker’s Contest, offering scholarships to students excelling in public speaking.
We take pride in supporting Camp Teresita Pines, an inclusive retreat for individuals of all abilities. Together, the Cucamonga District Lions Club continues to embody the Lions motto — We Serve — by uplifting lives, building community, and helping more people every day.
