Meet the Clifton Lions Club
The Clifton Lions were chartered in 1969. From modest beginnings, we have grown into a vibrant Clifton/Centreville/Fairfax area service organization. In addition to community service, the club makes monetary donations to over 30 local, state, national, and international charitable organizations.
Our club consists of a diverse group of service oriented men and women who work to support and improve our local community. Club activities revolve around service projects and fundraisers.
We sponsor Boy Scout Troop 119, Scout Troop/Venture Crew 893, and Cub Scout Pack 1860. We are active in the growth of the Northern Virginia Lions Youth Camp, supporting weekend campouts and maintaining a cabin. In partnership with the City of Fairfax, the Clifton Lions Labor Day Car Show has become a major annual family event.
At our twice-monthly dinner meetings, you'll find a brotherhood/sisterhood unlike any other as we gather to sing our opening song--"Working on the Railroad"--inside the Fairfax Railroad Museum, which we have all to ourselves. Come experience the warmth and uplift your spirits.
We are the Clifton Lions. Join us in serving our communities!

Want to learn more about being a Lion? Meet the new International President, Dr. Patti Hill, and her theme for Lions worldwide, Changing the World.
"Changing the world is a journey. There is no middle and no end. There is only a beginning - and it starts with us. It happens through many small choices and acts of kindness we make every day. Together, the sum of our efforts makes the world a better place, one life, one relationship and one community at a time".
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
