Meetings

The Centreville Lion's Club meets every second and fourth Wednesday even at the Centreville High School Library from 7 pm to 8:30.  The Club provides eyeglasses, diabetes awareness and other services to the community. The meeting begins with the pledge of allegence, a prayer and a meal. After the meal a short prorgam follows and then business is discussed.

We are looking for new members who want to serve their local community. You can becaome a member by contacting a lion members. He or she will show you how to become a lion.

Lions are groups of service-minded men and women who are interested in improving their
communities. To be a Lion is to be an active volunteer, a member of a respected
international organization, a leader in the community and a friend to people in need.

WHAT DO LIONS CLUBS DO?
Lions move to make a difference locally and globally. Lions are best known for their efforts
to eradicate preventable blindness, but also participate in many other kinds of projects,
including assisting those in need, sponsoring international exchanges for young people,
providing supplies to victims of natural disasters and bringing clean drinking water
to remote villages. Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller and communities
get better.
WHY JOIN A LIONS CLUB?
As a Lion, you will have the opportunity to help others, meet new people and use your
talents to make a real impact. You will acquire new skills, meet challenges headon,
cultivate lasting friendships, grow personally and have fun at the same time.
