Cayucos Lions Club PO Box 306, Cayucos, CA 93430
In September 1948 a group of men joined together and became part of a worldwide organization, the Lions Clubs International. We adopted the Lions International Motto "WE SERVE" and made it a way of life for our club. The Cayucos Lions serve our community, our country, and even extend our efforts to the entire world by helping the Lions International in its fight to eradicate preventable blindness. Our main efforts have been focused on the community level to make our city a strong viable part of our nation. We sponsor a Flag Day ceremony at the gradeschool, an Independence Day Parade that draws up to 15000 visitors, high school speech contest, Adopt-a-Highway cleanup, Cayucos Car Show BBQ, taking care of our Veterans Hall, and much more. Though we are a very small community, our membership consists of about 50 civic-minded men.
