Club Reports will be collected to be delivered to the Cabinet Secretary @ the
Mini Convention in Sarasota on April 6th. She would like an emailed copy of your
report prior to that date.
The District is asking for items for Blessing Bags. These bags will be assembled
by LEOS at the MD CONVENTION in Orlando in May. Please ask your membership to bring any of the following:
New, unwashed hand towels
New, unwashed wash cloths
Adult Toothbrushes in Package
Toothpaste
3 oz or larger bar soap
Gallon bags
Nail clippers
6" combs
Adhesive Bandages, 3/4 to 1 inch
Feminine Hygiene Products
The BLESSING BAGS will be delivered to those in need following any upcoming disasters. And, lets face it......we live in Florida! There will be strong tropical storms and more Hurricanes. We pray not, but we must be real. Who knows what communities will need our assistance in the future.
Please RSVPto your Zone Chair, CHUCK CARTER, ASAP so the SAN/CAP LIONS CLUB has a count for food. BRING YOUR MMR'S.......PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOU ARE NOT ON LION PENNY'S BAD LIST!!

PRE-SCHOOL VISION & HEARING TESTING
The Cape Coral Lions Preschool Vision & Hearing Team is happy to be off and back into the swing of things as the school year has started here in Lee County. There is much excitement among the team as the Lions fell right back into a rhythm just like the experienced team they are and the sessions are going terrifically. Our first session was at:
Creative Coast Preschool
We went to KIDDIE ISLAND PreSchool 10732 Stringfellow Road, Pine Island, FL. It is just north of the Pine Island Road/Stringfellow Road Intersection. We had a very large group for our first testing session but it was a good test for us and went really well. We are informed it is our furthest location this year.
Further Screenings Scheduled
We have a list of dates with locations to be filled in and will be published upon assignment. I can at least share some dates and fill in the remainder of info later.
The Screenings are being concentrated on Fridays for future planning.
