Calabogie Lions Club

The Calabogie Lions Club (CLC) is situated in the Ottawa Valley in the beautiful Lanark Highlands.  Nestled on the shores of magnificent Calabogie Lake 100km northwest of the Capital of Canada, Ottawa, ON.  The club, chartered in 1952,  is always looking for a few more civic minded men and women to become a part of our welcoming environment. The CLC celebrated 67 years of service on October 21, 2019.

Club Meetings

Regular Dinner Meeting:

The 1st Tuesday of each month is the club monthly dinner meeting, except for November. Following a one-half hour social period starting at 6:30 pm, dinner meetings start at 7 pm. Meal costs are $16.00 per person.

Dinner meetings are normally held in the Community Hall (574 Mill Street) which is situated off of Mill Street, between Francis St and County Road 511 in Calabogie.  Some meetings may be held at alternate venues, please check the "Calendar" page for updates.

Business/Directors Meeting:

On the 3rd Tuesday of months April through May and September through December except for November, the club holds a Business/Directors Meeting and everyone is invited to attend.  It is held at Various sites in Calabogie at 7:00pm.

Annual General Meeting:

On the 3rd Tuesday of June and everyone is invited to attend.  It is held at Various sites in Calabogie at 7:00pm.

All Lions are welcome to come on down to visit with us.  For those non-Lions wishing to attend a meeting either contact any present member of the club or Lion Barrie LeGear at 613-752-0007 , and he will be more than happy to set you up with a sponsor.

The Community Hall is home to the Calabogie Lions Club,
and is available to rent for private and community events.

Wednesday: Community DABBER BINGO, Calabogie Community Hall, 7:15 pm.

Friday: 50/50 draw at The Calabogie Brewing Company, 6:30 pm.

Every 2nd Saturday (during ski season) 50/50 draw at Calabogie Peaks ski hill, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm.
