Barton Lions Celebrate their 7th birthday with a Mad Hatters Tea Party
A glorious summers day stretched ahead for Barton Under Needwood Lions Club who celebrated their 7th birthday by holding a Mad Hatters Tea Party last weekend.
Lions from far and wide attended to help celebrate, from our past District Governor Neil Martin from Whalley in Lancashire to members from Stafford, Stone, Swadlincote, Lichfield, Rugeley, Stoke and of course Barton itself.
Our current District Governor Mary Ann Woodman from Fleetwood attended and presented Jean Smith with the prize for her winning creation.
A fun afternoon with friends and family with a lovely picnic spread in the beautiful gardens of Penny and Keith Smith all washed down with a glass or two of cold Pimms!

Lichfield Club 50th Anniversary Charter Night 2022
Barton Lions join Lichfield Lions club to help them celecbrate their 50th anniversary at their Charter Night in November 2022. A wonderful black tie event at a local venue where we were joined by members of other Lions clubs, the District Gosvenor and the Mayor of Lichfield along with many guests and friends. A number of awards were presented during the evening and a proper celebration was had by all.

Christmas Meal at the 3 Horseshoes 
We celebrated the Christmas season with a fun meal at the 3 Horsehoes pub in Barton under Needwood. Lots of festive chat, dingbats and even a magic trick kept us all amused. A lovely evening with friends old and new. Happy Christmas one and all!

Coronation Celebrations
Barton Lions joined the party to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III with Rugely Lions at a special commerative concert. A great evening with a singalong too!
