Our Club was Chartered in 1976 and currently has a membership of 18 made up of both men and women . Our Club's focus is mainly on the local community where we aim to help enrich the lives of our residents through the support of local projects, schools, senior citizens and with a very strong bias to youth related programmes particulary in the fields of health & education. We also support District and International initiatives as well as the Lions Diabetes Eye Care Project in Fiji.

Our major activities include an annual "Cycle for Life" ride, a Charity Dinner in support of the Youth Activities of the Bucklands Beach Yacht Club, assist the Brain Injury Association with their Annual Picnic and a firewood project. We also give strong support to Camp Quality.We also fund prescription eyeglasses for underprivilaged children through Kidz First Hospital.

We support one Leo Clubs - Bucklands Beach Intermediate as well as the District's Young Speechmakers contest and organising our Zone's Young Ambassador Award project.
