Salvation Army Bell Ringing

Members of the Boardman Lions Club will be ringing the bells for the Salvation Army on Tuesday, December 3rd and Wednesday, December 4th from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM.  The red kettle location will be near Barnes and Noble in the Shops at Boardman Park.


Garage Sale 2019

The Boardman Lions Club annual Garage Sale will be Saturday, September 7th from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM at 5226 Pinetree Ln, across from First Covenant Church, in Boadman.  Proceeds from the sale will support Boardman Lions Club Charities.

Pasta Dinner 2019

Come join us for our annual pasta dinner on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Boardman Methodist Church.  The tickets are $10 each and can be purchased from any Boardman Lions Club member in advance or at the door.  Proceeds from the dinner support Boardman Lions Club Charities.

Arbor Day 2019 - Fourth-Grade Foresters Program

Fourth-Grade Foresters Program operates out of Lincoln, Nebrasks, where Arbor Day originated.  Each Boardman 4th grader receives a 12"-18" Norway Pine seedling for planting in the township.  The seedlings include a tag mentioning the Boardman Lions as the title sponsor.

Boardman Township Community Day - June 1, 2019

Come see us at the Boardman Township Community Day on Saturday June 1st from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.  We will be providing free eye screenings in the Administration Building.


Road Clean Up
Members help keep Boardman looking good by cleaning up and maintaining the Welcome to Boardman Signs, the Market Street and Southern Boulevard corridors from Rt. 224 to Western Reserve Road. Weather permitting, our next Road Clean Up is scheduled for Saturday May 11, 2019 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.  Thanks, Lions!

What We Need from You
            If you are experiencing difficult economic times and your children need new coats, please fill out the application. We know that many people are hurting now and we want to help as many as possible. Requests will be filled based on need.

If You Know Someone Who is Experiencing Financial Difficulty
            Please make sure they fill out an application.
If You Would Like to Donate to the Program
            Please fill out the donor form.

            Applications will be evaluated and recipients will be invited to an evening at Target to select their coat(s). This evening is for parents and children.
             Target will be partnering with us in this endeavor and they will also be contributing to the program by providing refreshments.
Target does a lot of good for the community.
             If you have a Target credit card, you may designate a school and they will make donations to that school based on your purchases. It is an easy way to help the schools of your choice.
