Lions Club of Bharatpur Saptarangi

The Lions Club of Bharatpur Saptarangi is a service-oriented social organization under Lions Clubs International, Multiple District 325 Nepal, established with the spirit of “We Serve.” As dynamic youth chartered club in Bharatpur, it reflects the diverse colors of society—hence the name Saptarangi (seven-colored), symbolizing unity in diversity, inclusiveness, and community harmony.

Objectives

  • To promote humanitarian service focusing on health, education, environment, and social upliftment.

  • To strengthen leadership and fellowship among members while mobilizing youth and professionals.

  • To support local and international Lions initiatives such as eye health, hunger relief, childhood cancer awareness, and disaster response.

Key Areas of Service

  • Health & Wellness: Organizing health camps, blood donation drives, eye check-ups, and awareness programs.

  • Community Development: Supporting underprivileged families, scholarships for students, and livelihood support.

  • Environment: Tree plantation, waste management awareness, and clean-up campaigns.

  • Women & Youth Empowerment: Leadership training, skill development, and social awareness activities.

Vision & Identity

The club envisions a vibrant, inclusive, and compassionate Bharatpur, where collective effort creates meaningful social change. The word Saptarangi symbolizes the seven colors of the rainbow—reflecting harmony, diversity, and the commitment to serve people from every walk of life.

Charter Leadership

Under the leadership of Charter President: Advocate Lion Sharad Mani Kharal (Saroj), PMJF the club has brought together enthusiastic professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders dedicated to impactful service. With teamwork, transparency, and dedication, the club aims to establish itself as a model Lions Club in the region.
