Come Visit the Benicia Lions Club at this year's Peddlers Fair, Saturday, August 13, 2022. Last year was a grand success - we raised over $2,000.00 to give back to organizations, High School scholarships, Lions-in-Sight and Ear of the Lion.
Thank you to all of those who came by and either visited or purchased a quenching margarita or quaffed a cold beer or water. We raised over $2,000 which will be donated back to various charitable organizations within the Benicia Community.
Special Thanks and Gratitude to:
One House Bakery: for allowing us to store our beer overnight keeping it cold (and foamless) for all you beer drinkers and providing a few replenishments of cups until replacements came.
Coldwell Banker Solano Pacific for allowing us to tap into their electricity and storage overnight of the Margarita machine! Benicia Lions Club truly relies on Coldwell Banker Solano Pacific at various times throughout the year and they are always willing to assist. Thank you for your willingness to always assist - your fellowship is gratefully appreciated.
Benicia Litter Pickers: These dedicated individuals relentlessly patrolled the entire length of First Street (and aways into the intersecting streets) to diligently pluck the litter that fluttered away from the thousands of attendees. I heard more than one person say "...what a beautiful City Benicia is and how clean it looks." Thank you Benicia Litter Pickers for an extraordinary job.
