Ashland is a beautiful city, right on Lake Superior. The city is a port on Lake Superior, near the head of Chequamegon Bay. The population was 7,908 at the 2020 census, all of whom resided in the Ashland County portion of the city


The Ashland Lions Club, Inc. is 18 members strong.  We have served the Ashland community since 1984, with services for the sight and hearing impaired, diabetic, and handicapped.   In 2006, the Ashland Lions Foundation, Inc. was formed, which is a 501c3 public charity to help further the goals of those we serve.
