The Antietam Valley Lions Club has been serving the Mount Penn, Lower Alsace and St. Lawrence communities for over 58 years.
We have a dynamic history that is intricately woven into the history of our community. This year our club has launched a campaign aimed at increasing our services to the community. Our community projects like Camp Lily support local children and schools through scholarships, recreation and mentoring. Regionally we support Beacon Lodge a camp for individuals with disabilities. Internationally, we offer many programs, including Youth Contest, Youth Camps and Exchange and Lions Quest.
Our motto is "We Serve." Lions are part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help our local communities. Our club current supports the following Charities:
Berks County Association for the Blind Berks Deaf & Hard of Hearing
Leader Dog School Exeter Little League
Delaware Valley Eye Bank Youth Exchange Programs
Olivet Boys & Girls Clubs Lions Youth Quest
Student of the Month Programs Peace Poster Contest 2010
Antietam Safe Prom Night
