WELCOME TO ANJUNA LIONS CLUB GOA

President. Secretary. Treasurer
The Lions Club of Anjuna, established in 1986, stands as one of the most respected and service-oriented community organisations in the region. With 39 years of uninterrupted service, the Club has become a symbol of commitment, compassion, and leadership within Anjuna and the neighbouring villages.
A major milestone in our journey came with the generous donation of a 1,000 sq. metre plot of land by the Communidade of Anjuna. This visionary gesture laid the foundation for our permanent home — a space where Lions could gather, plan, and execute meaningful service projects for the welfare of society.
With unwavering support, financial contributions, and physical effort from our dedicated members, the Lions Club House was constructed and proudly inaugurated in 1998. Since then, it has stood not only as a functional centre but as a landmark of unity, volunteerism, and the spirit of giving.
Over the decades, the Lions Club of Anjuna has actively carried out a wide range of community-centric programmes, including:
Health and medical camps benefitting children, adults, and the elderly
Blood donation drives and eye-checkup camps
Educational support initiatives, book donations, and youth engagement
Environmental projects, including tree planting drives and awareness campaigns
Support to schools and vulnerable communities, through donations, awareness sessions, and improvement of public spaces
Social welfare activities, ranging from supporting local families in need to organising seminars on safety, health, and civic responsibility
Our Club House continues to serve as a hub for planning service activities, hosting meetings, celebrating achievements, and strengthening the bond between members who come together with one purpose — to serve.
Today, as we proudly commemorate 39 years of service, the Lions Club of Anjuna remains committed to expanding its reach, embracing new ideas, and continuing the legacy built by our founding members. With every project, every camp, and every initiative, we reaffirm our motto: "We Serve."
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
