Founded in 1932, the Aberdeen Lions Club Of Harford County, Maryland consists of over 48 men and women dedicated to serving the needs of our community. We're proud of our city of Aberdeen, and our Club's many activities reflect the Lions motto of "We Serve." Club members serve the community by giving freely their time and labor, in addition to raising funds to support local projects.

2024 Annual Fruit Sale

The Aberdeen Lions club is conducting their annual fruit sale. Fruit orders are due by Friday, November 15th, 2024. Ad-on orders are due November 22nd, 2024.
Fruit will be delivered on Thursday, December 5th, 2024, to , to Grove Presbyterian Church, 50 E. Bel Air Ave. Aberdeen Md. 21001. NOTE THE DELIVERY ADDRESS HAS CHANGED. Customers can pick up their orders from 12 pm till 6 pm and on December 5th, 2024, and from 9am till noon on Friday December 6th, 2024. Orders can be dropped off at Harford Bank's Aberdeen Office on or before November 15th, Attention Lion Sandy Osborn or contact Lions Mark Schlottman, Dave Shetterly or Chuck Jacobs. Customers can pick up their orders from 12 pm till 6 pm and on December 5th, 2024 and from 9 am till noon on December 6th, 2024.

The Aberdeen Lions club provided plush lions to the Aberdeen Police department so that in situations where children are involved, it allows a comfort item to be provided.
Lions Charity Run 2023
Seven runners from Poland, Ukraine, Germany and Canada ran from Washington, DC to Boston to the Lions International Convention. Their motto was "We run to help children in need". Monies raised have helped Lions and local communities rebuild schools, orphanages and hospitals. The runners stopped in Aberdeen, MD. The team was greeted by Aberdeen Mayor Patrick McGrady, Del Steven Johnson, PDG Lion Bijoy Mahanti and Aberdeen Lions Club President Charles Jacobs. A monetary donation was made by the Aberdeen Lions Club to the runners. A big thank you to PDG Lion Bijoy for making all the logistical arrangements.







Lion Darnvey Law (sponsored by Lion Angela Johnson) and
Lion Kevin Shetterly (sponsored by LuAnne Miller) joined the Aberdeen Lions Club in January 2024.
Lion Lambert Rickey inducted both new lions at the February dinner meeting. Please congratuate Lions Darney and
Kevin when you see them.

Lion Jeffrey Meiselweitz joined the Aberdeen Lions Club in October 2023. Lion Jeffrey was inducted by PDG Rowe Haywood.
