Aberdeen Lioness Lions Club

A brief history of our Club:

The Aberdeen Lioness Club was founded in 1964 as an Auxiliary to the Aberdeen Lions Club.  It was formed as a social group for the wives of Lion members.  Over the next 13 years our club membership expanded and the Lionesses undertook many service projects and activities of our own.  In 1977, Lions Clubs International certified the club as an official Lioness Club.  Since that time the club has grown strong and achieved success.  Because of our hard work we have earned  District-wide respect and awards for our many programs and community service activities. On March 7, 2003 the Aberdeen Lioness Club became the Aberdeen Lioness Lions Club through the Lions Clubs International Bridge Program.  We continue to make a difference in our community.  WE SERVE!

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
