Who are we and What do we do?

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in 210 countries and geographical areas around the world.

We are called to be Global Leaders.  Where there is a need, there's a Lion.    "We believe that the world gets better and problems get smaller when people unite to serve their local and global community.  Lions help where help is needed."

Ways in which we build our communities:

Sight Programs

We want everyone to see a better tomorrow.  We support vision screenings, eye banks, eyeglass recycling and service dogs.

Health Programs

We believe everyone deserves a healthy life.  We support programs that focus on hearing loss, controlling and preventing diabetes, and eradicating measles.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities

We empower the next generation.  By providing youth volunteer opportunities and leadership experiences in a Leo club or sharing a message of peace through the Peace Poster Contest, we invest in the future by reaching out to young people.

Community and Environment Programs

We serve local communities and protect the planet.  We do this with hands on community work and service projects and by providing emergency assistance.

Disaster Relief

We are among the first to respond when disaster strikes.  We are able to help local communities and also contribute to Lions relief efforts in other countries in the event of a natural, man-made or healthcare emergency.

Be a LION

Join us in making a difference!  As a Lion, you'll join a local group of service-minded men and women who are working together to strengthen your community.  You'll also be a part of something bigger-a worldwide network of dedicated volunteers in over 46,000 club.  Be the difference in your community.  Be a Lion!
