WELCOME FROM WOODHALL SPA LIONS CLUB
Woodhall Spa Lions Club was originally formed in 2002 by 23 community minded people. Our first major fundraising event was held during the Woodhall Spa Festival at Jubilee Park, where we raised more than £500.00 for Lions Charities.
Some of our local achievements:
Encouraged and sponsored youth activities and an annual summer play scheme
Supported a student on an educational visit to the USA
Commissioned two students to make a handmade quilt for the Queens Guide Award to be raffled for UNICEF
Supported the local Scout Group
Promoted the Lions Eye Health Programme to educate people to have regular eye tests to prevent blindness caused by Diabetes and Glaucoma.

Supported the European Flood Disaster Appeal
Promoted Lions World Sight Day
Run an ongoing used spectacle collection for Third World countries
