The Winfield Lions Club will be hosting a community rummage and hot dog sale Saturday, June 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its clubhouse at the end of Main St. in Winfield, along the Kanawha River.

Anyone interested in selling may rent a space by contacting Wendell Samson at (304) 755-5539. Vendors will be charged $15 for a space with a table or $10 for a space without a table. Vendor setup will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Winfield Lions Club will be selling hot dogs and soft drinks, proceeds and donations received from the event will be used to support to the clubs ongoing community service projects. These include vision screening and eye glasses for people that cannot afford these services, Leader Dogs for the Blind, and Lions Club International Foundation.

Anyone interested in helping to serve the community of Winfield through the Winfield Lions Club is invited to join us at our clubhouse on the third Tuesday of each month, at 7 p.m., for the club’s pot luck dinner meeting.
