This is a flower bed that the  Willoughby Lions Club maintains for the
City of Willoughby on the corner of Waldamere Ave. and Brown Ave.

The Willoughby Lions Club of Willoughby, Ohio. was founded in 1944. Currently, the Club is made up of 15 members who actively participate in the three annual fundraising projects.The largest is the "Sweetest Day Rose Sale" which is in it's sixth decade of continuous activity. Second is the Willoughby Lions "Journey for Sight Duathlon" which is in it's 30th.year.   Lastly, the newest event is the "Mother's Day Carnation Sale". We have also promoted a Dining in the Dark the past thtree years where we were able to provide a piece of Digital equipment for students in the Willoughby Eastlake Schools.These events provide fellowship and laughter for the members, and funds to the treasury.
