On April 24th, members of the Wildwood Area Lions Club barbequed hot dogs, hamburgers and brats for the annual volunteer "Thank You" event at Equine Assisted Therapy.  The rain stopped in time for everyone to have a great time!  Check out pics in the photo gallery.

Congratulations to Sheryaa, a student at St.Louis Community College at Wildwood, who received a $1,000 scholarship from our Lions Club.  We wish her well as she pursues a career in medicine!  Check out the photo of the presentation.

COVID-19 Project:  The Wildwood Area Lions Club, in collaboration with the Bonhomme Lions Club and House Springs Lions Club, contributed 10 used iPads to local nursing homes.  The original plan had been to deliver them to local hospitals to help patients stay connected to their loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic. Seeing that need met by other sources, it was determined that the equipment could be used by assisted living facilities for similar purposes.

On Friday, August 21st, residents and staff at Gambrill Gardens and Anthology of Wildwood facilities in the area cheerfully received the donations from club representatives.  We hope to partner with these facllities on other projects in the near future.  See photos posted on this site.

The Wildwood Area Lions Club currently sponsors two major fundraisers throughout the year and we are always open to new opportunities! Through these fundraising activities we are able to support local and international charities.

The Mouse Races is a fun time for all. The evening includes watching the mice "RUN for the CHEESE", music, 50/50, State Races and a silent auction...Tons of adult fun!  Check our calendar for the date.

We love to participate in the Bar-B-Que Bash held at the St. Louis Community College at Wildwood every September.  Lots of  food, music and fun throughout the weekend--a wonderful community event.

We can also help you run a Mouse Race or Quarter Auction (?) for your organization.  Just give us a call!

heartheart  SERVICE   PROJECTS  heartheart

The Lions  take an active interest in the civic, cultural,  and environmental welfare of the community.

We regularly partner with the City of Wildwood on such events as the Music on Main concerts, the Frozen Feet race and the annual recycling event.

A $1,000 College Schlorship is awarded each year to a deserving student at St. Louis Community College at Wildwood Campus.

As part of the community the Lions will sponsor groups within the local community.  We are proud to announce that we are sponsoring the Green Pine Boy/Cub Scout Unit 567 and the Cub Scout Pack 304.  The  Lions  sponsors more Boy/Cub Scout troops than any other non-religious organization in the United States.
