White Plains Lions Club Holiday Gift Wrapping

Lions Club Members Megan Keane, Alex Roithmayer, and Yina Bravo lent a hand and scissors, at the City Center in White Plains, gift wrapping books from Barnes & Noble.  Donations benefited SHORE (Sheltering the Homeless Is Our Responsibility, Inc,) an all-volunteer, interfaith, not-for-profit housing organization in central Westchester County, NY

White Plains Lions Club 3 Kings Celebration Toy Donation

Lion Maria Samuels helped coordinate Toys for Tots donations to benefit Centro Hispano “Dia de los Tres Reyes”.  

White Plains Lions Club IPod Donation Drive

Members collected new and used IPods, headphones and iTunes cards benefiting The Kensington Assisted Living Residence in White Plains.  With this donation, they can now launch the “Music & Memory” program, which will assist residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other Dementia related memory issues, designed to help calm patients, make them happier and more sociable. 

Donations can still be made for this on-going program.  Lion Kathy Guglielmo presented the donations to Joanne Hubbard, Director of Memory Care at The Kensington.
