We are excited to announce that we have changed our name to better reflect the community we serve. The Wellington District Lions Club is now the Prince Edward County Lions Club. Our Motto will never change......... WE SERVE!
We would love to increase our service to the community.....but we need more members to do that!
Everything we do, we believe, can make a difference in someone's life. We succeed in making a difference by combing our time, talents and resources. We are a group of like-minded men and women giving, learning and having fun. Want to join?

START GIVING BACK TODAY!
When a group of people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action on projects to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s how caring men and women serve together so they can make an even greater impact and change more lives.
The Wellington District Lions Club is based in Wellington but serves all of Prince Edward County. One of our goals is to form a new group of energetic Lions who are more interested in community projects and service activities rather than attending meetings.
Let this be the year that you give back. Join today. Email: wellingtondistrictlions@gmail.com if you have any questions or for more information.
The winners of the Wellington District Lions Club shopping spree recently had their shot at taking home as many groceries as they could fill their cart with in four minutes on Tuesday morning at No Frills in Picton. First prize winner Moira Coull won a value of up to $700 and the second prize winner Heather Harris a value of up to $400. Harris was not the original winner of the prize, but was given the prize as a gift from her employer, Johannes Kunert of the Wellington Bakery. Thank you to all who bought tickets on the draw. All funds raised will go back into our community.
Congratulations Moira and Heather!
For the second year in a row, the Wellington District Lions Club provided gifts for local seniors in long-term care who have no family and no gift to open on Christmas morning. Pictured above are club members with friends and family and Guidedog in training Hudson. This has become one of our favourite service activities of the year.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!
