WE SERVE

It is with great sadness and compassion that our thoughts go out to Waynesboro Lion Mars Champaign on the passing of his wife, Bobbie, on March 28, 2024.  Bobbie graced our meetings on many occasions and we had the honor or hosting them for her 100th birthday in September 2022.  We are deeply sorry for his loss.

WHO WE ARE:
Waynesboro Lions Club is a local, nonprofit service organization chartered by Lions Club International.  Fundraising efforts allow us to aid individuals and community organizations in need.  100% of the money we collect through public fundraising efforts is utilized to help others through a variety of Lions service projects!  Administrative expenses of the club are paid for through member dues.

The Waynesboro Virginia Lions Club was founded in 1941 by 15 charter members with a desire to serve those in need in the community.  Today, decades later, our purpose remains the same.  The Waynesboro Lions Club is composed of volunteer members who dedicate time and resources to aid our community members here in the Waynesboro area in need of assistance.

HOW CAN I HELP?
We need your support to continue the mission.   New members are always welcome and are you are encouraged to speak with any member for more information.  Can’t commit to joining? You can offer your support by donating to the Waynesboro Lions Club and/or purchasing a chicken barbeque half during one of our mild-weather barbecue or other fundraising events.  Don’t forget to watch for our August/September All-You-Can-Eat Shrimp Festival/Silent Auction and our returning Christmas Tree Fundraiser in November-December.
