Our December 10th meeting is being held at the Waynesboro Country Club beginning at 6:00 pm. This is our Christmas celebration and we are planning to have fellowship and games. We are requesting Lions wear festive clothing to this meeting to keep in the spirit of Christmas!
A reminder the gifts were are providing to the children at Waynesboro Human & Community Services are to be wrapped and brought to the club meeting. I will be delivering the present to Waynesboro Human & Community Services following the meeting.
We will have a short business meeting. Discussion items will be: Pancake Breakfast tentatively scheduled for February 14, 2026; District 14-T Calendars as this will be the last opportunity to purchase (there is a winner in the numbers remaining!); the “10 Day April Showers of Cash” Cash Bash tickets are available and members are requested to pick up several to sell.
We will have another “Who is this Lion” contest this month. Lion Jim Eles was last month’s “Who is this Lion” and we had two Lions correctly identify him. Congratulations to Lions Karey Singley and Chuck Vickery their wins. Lion Chuck is winning the competition with three wins, Lions Sherry Newcomer and Karey Singley have two wins and Lions Jim Eles, Dave McCarney and Matt Stewart have one win.
Lastly, I wish all Waynesboro Lions members and their families a Merry Christmas and many Blessings in the New Year.
Yours in Service,
King Lion Denise
