Waukesha students apply to receive annual scholarships from the Waukesha Lions Club for their education. 

Donations to local agencies  

including the Waukesha Food Pantry and Waukesha Police and Fire departments

The Wisconsin Lions Camp  Free Camping Clipart
gives over 1,400  people with special needs the opportunity to enjoy a free week at camp every year.  Funded by Wisconsin Lions, participants enjoy outdoor sports, living skills, handicrafts and other activities in a safe, beautiful setting

Vision Screening   Free eyeball clipart download clip art on
Offered annually by trained Lions to children in daycare through elementary schools in Waukesha

Collect Used eyeglasses and hearing aids for donation 

Collection boxes for used eyeglasses and hearing aids are located in:

  • Waukesha city schools, churches, library, businesses, eye care clinics

  • Waukesha Banks and Credit Unions

  • ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital

BOLD (Blind Outdoor Leisure Development)  

The Waukesha Lions support the BOLD organization by providing lunch twice a year at an event. Lions also participate monthly with the group as guides for x-country skiing, hiking and biking

BINGO Bingo Images Clipart, Transparent PNG Clipart Images Free ...

Waukesha Lions provide a night of BINGO to local residents 6 times a year. All supplies, prizes and treats are provided

Eye Tissue Transport 

Lions pick up eye tissue or cornea transplants and deliver in route to the Eye Bank in Madison 

Donate to National and International programs

  • Blindness prevention and treatment

  • Leader dogs (seeing eye dogs)

  • Diabetes and other research and funding

  • Disaster relief funding

If you would like information sent to the District via e-mail, send an e-mail with your information to: A1@wilions.org.  On a weekly basis (Sunday/Monday) the District Moderators will send an e-mail with the pertinent information received the prior week.

Posting information to the District Facepage

If you would like your event or information posted to the District Facepage, please e-mail that information to fb@wilions.org.  Events posted to the District Facepage will also pop up on the District website.
