Thank you to all who participated in our 2020 Halloween drive-thru event!

Wallkill Lions Club and Elsie's Place Restaurant showed their appreciation to healthcare workers at St. Like's Cornwall Hospital (Newburgh campus) in Spring 2020 with a meal delivery.

The club raised over $3,000 for the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry at our 2020 Memorial Day Drive-Up BBQ fundraiser. Below, President Sal Patella sells the first meal of the event

In conjunction with the Ulster County DPW, the Wallkill Lions Club undertook a project to enhance the property on the west side of the bridge on Wallkill Ave.  After grading and seeding, the NYS DEC’s Trees for Tribs program granted native trees and shrubs, which the Wallkill Lions Club members planted on Oct. 17, 2019. The project's goal was to provide our community an area to relax and enjoy the view of the Wallkill river.  In 2020, the club added a "Welcome to Wallkill" sign to what has been dubbed ‘Lions Landing’. Aside from Lions members, the Wallkill Lions Club would like to extend special thanks to the Town of Shawangunk, Ulster County DPW, NYS DEC and legislator Ken Ronk for collaborating on the plan and process
