Established in 1979 the The Vimy Lions & District Club has offered people just like you the opportunity to give something back to their community.

When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the community through kindness. 

At the heart of our Vimy Lions Club there is one constant: service. Giving your time and energy to others is a fantastic way to help your community. Yet, it also provides a great feeling for you that can spread and have a positive impact in your life and how you approach the community.

We provide community services such as but not limited to, our Annual Spring Clean Up, Vimy Hall Rentals, Annual Fall Supper, The Christmas light Up, maintaining the Community playground. We are also in the process of revamping our Skating Shack which will also be available as a rental facility for smaller functions and gatherings for the community and surrounding areas as an affordable option to bring family and friends together. These are just a few examples of what we do.

New members add more hands to the service offered but of equal importance, we look forward to new ideas and leadership of our club activities.
