The Villa Rica Golden City Lions Club honors our Gold Star Mothers, May 2012
The Villa Rica Golden City Lions Club along with other Carroll County Lions Clubs, Georgia Lighthouse continues to work with the Rapha Clinic to provide free visions clinics other month for those who would not otherwise be able to have an exam or get eye glasses. in November of 2011 we held our first Pet Parade and Games and with the profits will be able to write a check to the Gerogia Lighthouse for the Blind in the amount of $1250.00 our largest check to them - WOW! We are so excited! Our Club is sending two campers to the Georgia Camp for the Blind in 2012! Participated in the Peach Poster & Essay program and sent in two posters as well as an essay.
2012 is here and we are busy planning for the upcoming year of 2012-2013 with events, fund raisers and growing our club.
