The Vergennes Area Lions Club is a member of Lions Club International since 1954 . The Vergennes Area Lions Club was chartered in 1954, sponsored by the neighboring Middlebury Lions Club. The International Association of Lions Clubs logged 20 members into the record book when our club was first established and we currently have over 80 members!

This club meets twice monthly and works year round to provide service to to The Vergennes area. We pride ourselves on growing in membership and meeting the needs of our community.

Our many projects contribute to those with handicaps, students needing financial assistance, and fund-raising for the main goal of the Lions International Clubs: Prevention of sight loss.

Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
