Pictured is our secretary Lion Sharon Astle Manuel most commonly known as SAM. Without question the best secretary ever (she made me say that). Sharon was an incredible source of information for me and helped me get through the year---she wouldn't let me give her an award but she never said anything about a house plant---thanks again Sam.

Lion Diane and I (Lion President Andy Axhorn) with some of our new members. Our results this year have been nothing short of outstanding. By any metric you wish to use, The Trenton Lions Club has left its mark on the community in which we live. Our donations to various charities and the community itself are way up, our club visitation and external participation are up, meeting attendance is up, and new membership is up an astonishing 11 new members or 32%, the envy of any club. And while the superlatives just go on and on, now is not the time to sit back and contemplate our achievements, as Lions we need to do more and we will. Thank you all for your outstanding support and cooperation---next year will be even better. Lions Roar

The Trenton Lions Club held its honours and awards dinner on June 13 and I was very pleased to honour these lions for for their outstanding commitment to Lions and our work in the Community. Each one has a unique quality and has consistently demonstrated their personal commitment to the community in which we live. It has been my pleasure to serve as President for the 2017/2018 lions year and I look forward to working closely with our incoming president Lion Connie. Shown left to right receiving their Judge Brian Stevenson Awards, Lion Art Folland, Lion Connie Kelso and Lion Mike Seymour, shown receiving his Helen Keller Award is Lion Mark Kelso, who served as our Zone chair for this term and will move on to Region Chair in the coming year. Well done and well deserved Lions. Lions Roar
