At our Christmas Breakfast we concluded a 50/50 draw in favour of Dog Guides of Canada---the winner was presented the cheque by Lion Andy Axhorn shown received $1155.00. The winner graciously donated back to the Lions Club $500.00 so that it can be included with the money going to Dog Guides.  We have an anonymous donor that will match our donation, so Dog Guides will get $3310.00.

At our annual Christmas Breakfast, the Trenton Lions Club donated to the City of Quinte West $5000.00 as part of our legacy project celebrating 100 years of Lions Clubs.  The funds are to be used for the purchase of three accessible picnic tables to be installed at various parks in town for all to enjoyy.  Picture left to right Lion President Andy Axhorn and Mayor Jim Harrison, Mayor of Quinte West.
 
Above: The Chair of our Bingo Committee, Lion Connie Kelso presenting a cheque for the Care & Share Food Bank to the Trenton Club President Lion Andy Axhorn.  Donations were made by the Bingo Patrons and the Club.  There was also approx. 1,000lbs of food donated.  Thank you to our Patrons and Bingo Committee for their generous donations to combat hunger in our community.  Lions Roar!
