International Director Lion Tom Gordon gave a wonderful, insightful speech about how all service clubs do so much for mankind. The lions motto is We Serve, we do that with the upmost respect for our fellow mankind in our community and abroad. By working together we can achieve so much, alone we can only do a little. That little what it may be will grow to a great idea with the help of many. We must stop looking back and only focus on looking ahead. What is in the past is done, what is in the future is a world of opportunity especially if we garnish the help of our youth and young adults in our community and focus on their interests to help our own communities and abroad. We can increase our membership by simply asking the right questions. The membership will continue to grow providing we are especially willing to accept change and not shoot down ideas no matter how different they are and let the new young members run with their ideas. I am sure many would be surprised at the results as International Director Tom was when he said with confirmation from first hand experience. Thank you International Director Tom for taking the time to visit with our Lions family and enlighting us and our guests on what Lions does for our fellow members and mankind.
