Representing the Woodbury Lions Club as we made a $750 donation to the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital for WHUD’s annual radiothon.

The Woodbury Lions Club was chartered in 1962 and has a rich history of service to our community and humanitarian service. Today, our members work together to serve our community in a multitude of ways.

Funds raised by the Woodbury Lions have been used for Lions Scholarships to Graduating Seniors at M-W High School, Kid’s Tuition for Camp Rez, and Boy Scout Eagle Scout Projects Maria Fareri Childrens's Hospital, just to name a few.  100% of your donations go back into the Community.

The Woodbury Lions have also supported individuals in need, food pantry programs, the ALS Foundation in Albany, Gloves, Socks and Hats for Winter Warmth, Habitat for Humanity, disaster relief programs, various programs for the blind including eyeglass collections, Route 32 Adopt a Highway, disaster relief programs, and “Support Our Heroes”.

The Woodbury Lions could not do all of the community enhancements and serve the humanitarian needs of the less fortunate if we didn’t have the support of businesses and individuals in our area. We appreciate very much the support we have received over these many years for all of our fund raising efforts, and we hope that we have earned your trust and confidence in using these funds wisely and compassionately.
