On one of the quite evenings of May 2007, some professionals & businessmen of Thodupuzha came together under the able stewardship of Ln. Sunil Sebastian and Ln.Noble John members of lions club Vazhakulam Pineapple City in Sicilia hotel Thodupuzha. This meeting lead to the formation of the present "Lions club Thodupuzha River Valley". In this meeting they also announced the willingness of Lions Club of Vazhakulam Pineapple City to sponsor our club.

             Our dear late Ln. Dr. M. Jayaprakash was elected as the first president and on 28th June 2007 the club was registered to lions club international. The Lionistic year of 2007-08 was led by a group of likeminded men under the flagship of late Ln. Dr. M. Jayaprakash. Coming years saw the rise of many great leaders in our club. This included Ln. Dr. Paul K Abraham, Ln. Prof George Chemparathy, Ln. Dr. Maneesh C Scaria, Ln. Adv.Jose Mathew, Ln. Vincent Thomas Putheri, Ln. Dr.C.C.Menon, Ln. Raju Joseph, Ln. P. S. Prakash and Ln T.K Ramesh as our past presidents. This year 2017-18 we are blessed enough to have eminent personalities like Ln. P.K. Anoop Kumar MJF as president and Ln.Shoby Michael as Secretary and Ln. K.C Anil Kumar as our Treasurer.
