Tawa Lions Saturday Market

Our Tawa Lions Saturday Market is open every Saturday, under Covid Red, Orange and Green Levels. We will have a full range of vegetables, eggs and honey. Car boot sales welcome.

9am – 2pm every Saturday wet or fine (except Christmas Day and New Year's Day

                               Next to Dominos Pizzas in Outlet City carpark, 24 Main Road, Tawa

Funds raised by Tawa Lions go towards community activities

Car Boot Sales 

  • Car boot Sales and sites no greater than 3 metre width for only $10.00
  • Local not-for-profit organisations, school groups, etc,  no charge.
  • No need to book. Just turn up on the Saturday of your choosing.
  • Sell those unwanted items cluttering up your house or garage.

Stall Holders

For sites greater than 3 metres in width, price by negotiation.

Support Your Local Community

Funds raised by Tawa Lions through the Saturday market are distributed to community organisations.

Recycle Your Old Spectacles

Bring in your old unused spectacles to the Lions Stall at the market for recycling overseas.

Still Holding Old Money?

  • Support the “Heads up for Kids” project supporting youth activities
  • Donate your obsolete NZ & Overseas coins and notes.
  • Bring them to the market or put them in the box at Tawa New World (opposite Lotto Counter)

Kan Tabs for Kidney Kids

Lions at the market will gladly accept donations of tabs from aluminium cans and wine bottle screw caps.

Used Small batteries

Bring them to our Market stall and we will recycle or dispose of them in an environmentally acceptable method.

Market established in 2006

In the past twelve  years over $300,000 has been raised.
