Taneytown Family Fun Days was a first-ever endeavor five years ago, conceived and planned by the Taneytown Lions Club. Churches and Non-profit Organizations have been offered space free-of-charge for displays or their own fund-raising activities. A number of businesses in the community also join in the effort by becoming sponsors. All proceeds from the event benefit youth sports programs and non-profit organizations that provide needed services to the Taneytown and Carroll County communities. The event will go on rain or shine. Parking and admission to Memorial Park are free.
