台中市西區獅子會成立於1961年。

現任會員有律師、醫師、建築師、會計師、設計師與工商界精英等。台中市西區獅子會歷年來的社會服務，包括了捐贈護目助盲基金，台中市中正公園兒童遊樂亭，中山公園友愛、博愛、仁愛庭園，崇倫公園友愛庭園，捐贈臺中市消防局救護車，921災區校舍重建工作，上美獅吼糖尿病防治活動2009音樂會等。
