The St. Joseph Lions and Y2K Lions award banquet took place on November 15 at the El Paso Club. District Governor Sandy Sandwick joined Lion Presidents Elmer Rakotz and Ann Reischl and Secretaries Donna Hoskins and JoDel Johnson in presenting numerous awards.

Parade Signs Under Construction by Lions Crew
Lions Club members constructed 172 signs to be used at the upcoming 4th of July parade.

St. Joseph Lions Adopt-a-Highway Crew
St. Joseph Lions Club members picked up trash along Highway 75 from Millstream Park to TireMaxx before their regular meeting on May 3. This community service project is done in the spring and fall to beautify the St. Joseph area.

LCIF Donations Exceed $6 Million for Relief Effort in Japan
Lions Clubs International Foundation has received donations or commitments exceeding US$6 million for relief efforts in Japan.
Lions Donate Over $158,000 at District Convention!
District Lions clubs gathered at the Kelly Inn in St. Cloud the weekend of February 4 - 6 for the Mid-Winter District Convention. A total of $158,801 was donated to Lions causes including eye bank, diabetes, and Leader Dog training. Seven members from our club attended the convention.

St. Joseph Lions Donate AED Units to Churches
The St. Joseph Lions recently donated two AED units to area churches. One unit was given to St. Joseph Catholic Church and the other unit was donated to Resurrection Lutheran Church.

Dial-a-Ride Sponsored by St. Joseph Lions
Tri-CAP is providing a dial-a-ride bus service to St. Joseph residents through a collaboration of the St. Joseph City Council, St. Joseph Lions Club and the St. Benedict Monastery.

Millstream Park Shelter Roof Complete!
Thank you to Lions Keith Schleper and Jim Meyer for coordinating the reroof project at Millstream Park along with all of the dedicated Lions who volunteered their time working on the project despite the rainy conditions! Click here to view a slide show of the project.

Club History
The St. Joseph Lions Club was sponsored by the Albany Lions Club on February 25, 1964. Since then, the club has a proud history of serving local, regional and international needs with club contributions exceeding $815,000!

Meetings
We meet at 7 pm on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Click Calendar in the left sidebar for a schedule of the upcoming meetings and other events.
During the summer, our meetings are held at the Millstream Park in St. Joseph. In the colder months, our meetings take place at area restaurants or clubs. Contact Lion Connie Loecken at (320) 363-7903 for information about the meeting location if not indicated on the calendar page.
